Get a Library Card
If you live within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Riverton, are 18 or older and have no outstanding fines for other libraries, you are entitled to a library card. Bring a form of identification listing your current address and a Drivers License/ID and we will be happy to issue you a library card.
Children 17 and younger must have a parent or legal guardian's permission and signature for a card to be issued. Parent or guardian must be present at the time of issuance.
If you live outside the corporate limits of Riverton but within the Riverton School District, you may purchase a non-resident library card. A $50 fee per year entitles you and your family to library cards. These library cards can be used at any public library in the area. Contact the library for full details on eligibility.
Non-Resident students pk-12, in the Riverton School District, are entitled to a card at no cost through the Cards for Kids program. This program is reviewed annually.
